One of the most telling moments was when we returned to the villas after being off-site, disrobing to be more comfortable, one of the (hitherto) non-Naturist guests said, “How will we ever go back to wearing clothes all the time?”

How will those of us who have spent the spring and summer of 2020 naked the great majority of the time, under the COVID-19 lockdown, ever go back to “normal”? I haven’t spent so much time naked since my naked nine months in the womb. On three occasions I’ve been able to stay naked for a full seven days. Being naked has been delightful, yet it has become utterly unremarkable, especially when NIFOC. And I’ve had very little need to wash clothes.
Let’s find a way to make nakedness from the spring equinox to the autumn equinox our new normal.

Advice for first-time naturists

If you want to experience naturism for the first time, but you are worried that you’ll be embarrassed at being naked and conspicuous, you may find this advice helpful:

Prepare for the day of your first naturist experience by going naked at home, if you don’t already. Do perfectly ordinary things naked.
When the day arrives, get into the mood by wearing only a few clothes. What you do have on should be quick and easy to remove, so if a garment has buttons, leave as many unfastened as possible — preferably all of them. On this day especially, clothes that are constricting or tight-fitting are best avoided, so don’t bother with underwear.
Once you are in a naturist environment, remind yourself that there is nothing in the least naughty about any part of your body, and get naked without delay. First slip off your clothing below the waist, and then your clothing above the waist.
Adopt a posture that enhances your confidence, and demonstrates confidence to those around you: arms at your sides or behind your back, bum forward, head up, shoulders back.
Your unique body, including your unique willy / fanny and everything else, is now unashamedly out in full view, like the unique bodies of your fellow-naturists. Happily naked, and inconspicuous, you have become one of us. Enjoy the wonderful freedom and simplicity of nakedness.
